Apia Driving School is proud to be an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.
The Safer Drivers Course is a government initiative, offering heavily subsidised Driver Training for Learners (who have already logged 50 hours of driving). The course aims to better prepare learners for a safe transition to solo driving on their provisional licence, a time when the risk of a casualty crash increases by at least 6 fold. It is delivered as a 3 hour classroom workshop, a 2 hour in-car coaching session, with the learner receiving a 20 hour logbook bonus.
The Safer Drivers Course teaches learners how to manage risks, distractions and influences that you will experience when you graduate to you P’s and solo driving. In the course you will also learn and put into practice, low risk driving strategies that will keep you safe on our roads for a lifetime.
